“We created Thync to help people better access the power of their mind. We believe that when you conquer your mind, you can conquer your day.” The company has been founded by engineering and neuroscience experts from ASU, Stanford, Harvard, and MIT but is yet to unveil their first device to sport the innovative technology. Khosla partner Samir Kaul said:
“We share Thync’s belief that unlocking the power of the mind will be a great advancement and a frontier that consumers should have access to. We back the talented team at Thync because we see a revolutionary convergence at the intersection of neuroscience and consumer technology.” Thync says that neurosignaling uses electronic or ultrasonic waveforms to signal neural pathways in the brain. Thus, when specific pathways are stimulated, they trigger a shift in your state of mind or energy level. The company also said that Thync Vibes are intelligent waveforms delivered via neurosignaling amd they are are targeted to specific neural. You select Vibes on-demand for your shift to an energized, relaxed or focused state. Thync looks to build “a safe, effective, aesthetically designed lifestyle device that anyone can use,”. The co-founder said that Thync’s device will be worn on the head, and will look “unexpected, and not what you’d imagine.” However, at the moment, a physical product, even a prototype, hasn’t been made public. He added: “The Thync team is working hard on introducing neuroscience to 21st century engineering. For the first time, we are able to target and optimize neural pathways and brain circuits for personal benefit. Thync technology converges on many of these same pathways to achieve positive effects.” We don’t have anymore details to share with you at the moment, but this definitely looks like an exciting device and we’ll keep you updated on its progress.
